The staircase at Oxon Hill Manor is a stunning location for portraits of the bride and groom after their ceremony under the portico. Oxon Hill Manor is located near the National Harbor in Fort Washington, Maryland.
In addition to the winding staircase, a grand marble foyer awaits guests as they enter through the double doors. A warm inviting fireplace is one of the first things you'll notice as you walk into the spacious entryway. Just off the foyer are three huge rooms, two ballrooms with beautiful chandeliers, and a wood paneled library. The manor is managed by the Prince George's County department of parks and recreation and is available for events and weddings.
Boasting well manicured English gardens, a reflecting pool, expansive portico, and porches, the stately brick home sits atop a hill close to the brand new MGM at the National Harbor. So many locations for portraits as newlyweds either alone or with your family and wedding party.
A tent is available during the warmer seasons for a evening reception on the expansive patio. The space allows for up to 300 people for a standing event and 170 seated with a dance floor.
You can chose to prepare for your wedding day at the manor, or at one of the many hotels at the harbor just down the hill. In addition to hotels, such as the Gaylord, westin, and MGM, there are lots of restaurants for your out of town guests to enjoy as they arrive for your celebration. They can even enjoy a little Vegas ambiance while playing poker or slots at the MGM that looms over the Woodrow Wilson Bridge and the Potomac River.
