Spring weddings are popular in the DC metro area. Late April is the perfect time to capture those blooms and enjoy cooler weather for your outdoor ceremony. This South Asian bride chose Oxon Hill Manor for her multi-day event. The sangeet was hosted on the mansion's large patio covered by a lovely white tent. The next day, the groom, surrounded by his friends and family, made his way down the long tree lined driveway on a horse for his baraat. The bride's family greeted him in the large porch area for the milni. the flower covered Mandaap was designed on the side porch area with guests watching the wedding ceremony seated in the lush garden. After lunch, and the vidayi, the couple took a break to head to the nearby Gaylord Hotel at the National Harbor to rest and prepare for the evening reception. The reception was hosted on the patio under the tent, overlooking the lights of the harbor and the potomac river.
